VIDEO: Girls 132 finals, Alo vs. Ikei

Teniya Alo went through a change, but found success on the mat once again. Competing for Kahuku, she defeated Roselani Ikei of Kaiser by fall (3:02) to capture the girls 132 weight class championship at the Chevron/HHSAA Girls Wrestling State Championships last week.

Alo began her prep career at ‘Iolani, where she won an individual title as a freshman. She transferred to a charter school, Hawaii Technology Academy, for junior year. As a Hauula resident, she competed for the Red Raiders for the first time this winter.
