ESPN’s Neil Everett surprises Hall of Honor

The 33rd annual Hall of Honor banquet felt a lot like a family reunion.

Neil Everett, last year’s speaker, made an appearance via video to surprise Hawaii News Now’s Fran Weems, this year’s featured speaker. Weems had been inducted a decade before.

But for all those two professionals said, the most memorable words were spoken by Kamehameha’s Sarah Lau on behalf of all of the inductees, borrowed from a Navy Seal: “Make your bed.”
