Much was on the line for second-seeded Konawaena: an opportunity to advance into the championship game of the Division II First Hawaiian Bank/HHSAA Football State Championships. But a sloppy first half led to missed opportunities, and the visiting Lahainaluna Lunas pulled away after a 7-all halftime stalemate for a 28-14 victory at Julian Yates Field.
