The first big showdown of the ILH Division II regular season is coming this weekend when St. Francis meets Damien. Saints Coach Kip Akana chatted about the Monarchs after his team outlasted ‘Iolani 43-26 on Friday.
Forget about the Punahou/St. Louis game, this in my humble opinion, will be the game to watch this week. The Division II is so evenly matched this year which makes for some exciting football. In my mind, this is essentially a championship game because one of these two teams will be the ILH DII champions.
