Currently, 16 players from Hawaii have been invited to play in the annual high school football all-star game for seniors only. The 2018 game will be played Saturday, Jan. 20, at Aloha Stadium.

The players already selected from Hawaii are:
>> Chevan Cordeiro, QB, Saint Louis (Hawaii)
>> Kukea Emmsley, DE, Kapolei (Boise State)
>> Aaron Faumui, DL, Kapolei
>> Justin Genovia, WR, ‘Iolani
>> Kahale Huddleston, RB, Hilo
>> Kana’i Mauga, LB, Waianae (USC)
>> Wembley Mailei, DB, St. Francis

I believe the two seniors on the Punahou D line should be selected. Both at 6’2 270 Ibs ore more. Hale Motuapuaka and Tomasi Fakatoumafi, both of Tongan descent. Both under-the-radar and both hungry to play every saturday. Watch for them sat as they take on the Crusaders. Love the way they both play with a chip on their shoulder and the energy they give to their defense and also the holes they create for their backers. Would be ashame if they don’t get invited. Both are good kids. This bowl needs more tongan kids as well. Watch for them to lead their team to states this year. Proud of those young talented young man.
Ferenisi lualemana the DT from Aiea. He’s been a Year varsity player. And this year he’s pretty much been a force to be reckon with. He may not have the height but he sure have the strength to play across the best of the best…

Etuati Storer, Elijah Ragudo, Siale Hafoka, Elijah Moritz of Lahaina Luna….State champs D2, these young men can all play at the next level but they never get noticed because they play in Maui!…. Hawaii needs more players from the outer islands…these young men are coachable and are great examples of student athletes, they represent what we want to see in Polynesian people, humble, hardworking, driven. With all that is wrong in this world today do the right thing and give these good kids a shot!
Kicker Zameer Khan of Pearl City. Played injured but still won couple of games for them. Excellent technique for next level.

Jalen Olomua. . . Pretty much the whole Offense and Defense last year. . . This year with a more mature experienced team it really showed how much of an impact he has on the team. Cover2 nominee for OPloy this yr, but plays defense where he is needed now.
Dillon Toilolo. . . How fast the STL crowd forgets this kid. Was impact player his sophomore year against Kahuku(kid balled out) the year they lost in the state final. . . Leads by action, smallest lb but hardest hitter. . .
These 2 are the most underrated football players in the state. Their not one position guys, standout on both sides of the ball. Maybe their grades aren’t up to par(who knows) but they are hands down legit Football Players. Maybe not the media’s favorite to cover but definitely Football Players. . . . Not “Camp Studs”. . .
My brodies Kekoa Silva,Stevo Eter and Tre Barrett. Stud Receivers if you just get them the ball they can do damage.
Damien Monarchs – SHiloh Kaeo, Marcus Faufata-Pedrina, Pomai Kim, Akila Arrechi
Noa Purcell…… 1st team all state as a junior and killin it this year. 3 year starter since his sophomore year. He may by undersized but plays like he’s 6″2. Watch the tape it don’t lie.

Marquis Montgomery, a 6’4 205lb Wide Receiver from Kapoei High School, because he’s a very good wide receiver with D1 potential, but got injured during the season, but he is well and ready right now. He just received an offer from Pacific University and is getting interest from Air Force, Byu, Oregon, Boise State, Western Oregon, Washington State, Hawaii, and more.
This will be a great opportunity to show colleges and recruiters what he can really do.

Jonah Apo is a heck of player too for Kamehameha! That kid had two interceptions and a fumble recovery in one game in the first half only! Has any player from Hawaii done that this year?
Oh year, another thing! The best offensive line in the state of Hawaii is that kid Lokahi Pauole from Kamehameha. I saw him got call for a illegal man down field because he got double team and he took the tackle, and the tight end ten yards down field, and both of them ended up on their back.. What the heck is Rolo waiting for? But than again, I can see this kid going Alabama or those big time schools. 6′ 5″ 320 lbs but move like he’s 200 lbs. Best athlete that size in Hawaii!
Stephen Martin #75 from McKinley High School OL
Kanoa Shannon #20 RB from Kamehameha. One of the best running backs in the State and a work horse for the Warriors.
I believe Kanoa Shannon #20 from Kamehameha deserves recognition and should be included. He has had a productive year and every yard gained has been well earned. He is humble and works hard on and off the field. He has been a core player for the Warriors.
Kanoa Shannon #20 RB Kamehameha. The best running back in the ILH. Numbers and stats show that., but one tuff kid.
Kanoa Shannon #20 from Kamehameha deserves recognition and should be playing in the bowl. He has an extremely productive year with every yard gained well earned. He is humble and works hard on and off the field. He has been consistently one of the core Warriors this season.
Hilo RB Kahale Huddleston, if he already not invited.
Mckinley always gets overlooked….

He deserves a spot
Matthew Saltman
Matt Saltman is a 2 way player for the raiders who has sprinkled in some kicking from time to time. He’s time on the bench was due to off the field issues but will have a resurgence during the second half of the year. Little bit undersized but a true raider on the field.
Saint Louis LB Noa Purcell, great undersized LB plays bigger than he is.
Kamehameha RB Kanoa Shannon great runner especially between the tackles.
Both these kids deserve a spot.
Noa Purcell St. Louis LB
Thomas “Boogie” Yam Kamehameha QB
TAI-JOHN MIZUTANI – ‘Iolani QB. Great leader, great athlete. Accurate arm. Underrated for sure. Works hard. A STATE LEADER and ‘Iolani record holder for throwing yards. Put this guy on any other team in the state and he’d break every record.

Marquis Montgomery, HANDS DOWN!. One of the biggest receivers in Hawaii, and I receiving interests from various colleges, give him a chance to show what he can do.
