It’s already been quite a week for Mililani junior Vavae Malepeai.
The 6-foot, 200-pound running back received football scholarship offers from national powerhouse Oregon and Pac 12 mainstay USC. He now has 17 offers in all. USC offered on Monday and Oregon followed suit on Tuesday.

Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance shared the news on its Facebook page today.
Malepeai was a Star-Adveriser All-State first-team selection as a junior. He rushed for 1,244 yards and 23 touchdowns on 220 carries.
