Mililani senior Darius Muasau has been selected a Polynesian Bowl All Star.
The 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker, who has committed to the University of Hawaii, is the second Trojan selected to the 2019 high school football all-star game, joining quarterback Dillon Gabriel.
Muasau has anchored a Trojans defense that is allowing just 15.1 points per game against Hawaii opponents overall and only 8.4 points per game against seven OIA opponents.
Mililani has won five in a row since back-to-back losses to St. John Bosco and Punahou and has climbed to No. 2 in the state in the latest Honolulu Star-Advertiser Football Top 10.
The Trojans play Kahuku on Friday night at Aloha Stadium for the OIA Open Division championship. Mililani last won a league crown in 2014 when it went on to win its first state football championship.
The 2019 Polynesian Bowl will be held Saturday, Jan. 19. For a complete list of players selected to the game, click here.
