Mililani running back Vavae Malepeai received his 18th FBS scholarship offer today: Utah.
The 6-foot, 200-pound junior is heralded by his coaches for a dedicated work ethic. He last received offers on May 18 and 19 from USC and Oregon, respectively.
Unlike many of his peers, Malepeai doesn’t post much information about his offers. Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance shared the news on its Facebook page today.
Malepeai was a Star-Adveriser All-State first-team selection as a junior. He rushed for 1,244 yards and 23 touchdowns on 220 carries.
