1962 prep football all-star teams

Pal Eldredge was an honorable mention selection for the Star-Bulletin in 1962.

The newspapers agreed on the top awards for the ILH all-star team with Roosevelt quarterback Mike Lum the back of the year and Farrington guard Deroy Lavatai the lineman of the year. Punahou running back Charlie Wedemeyer was the only sophomore named to the team.

On the rural all-star teams, Kailua tackle Robert Richardson was the lineman of the year and Surfriders fullback Tim Berry was the back of the year according to the Honolulu Advertiser.

The Star-Bulletin went with Richardson as its lineman of the year but chose Waianae running back Cranston Kamaka as its back of the year.
