Corey Cabanban went up one weight class each year and conquered them all.
The Saint Louis senior won his fourth state wrestling title Thursday night, this one at 126 pounds to go along with the ones he won at 120, 113 and 106.
He is only the fifth Hawaii boys wrestler to get four. The others are ‘Iolani’s Patrick Higa (1983-86), Saint Louis’ Jonathan Spiker (2000-03) and Brandon Low (2003-06), and Mid-Pacific’s Josh Terao (2011-14).
