The Campbell tennis team didn’t have many stars this year, but the one they had was the brightest.

Zion Heaven was named the OIA West’s player of the year in voting of coaches on Thursday.

Heaven was the only Saber honored on the first and second teams. Mililani took four spots on the first team and Pearl City took two. Aiea had the other one.

The Trojans swept the rest of the OIA West awards, with Haley Fujimori being named the girls player of the year and Jason Agsalda taking the coach of the year for both girls and boys.

Farrington’s Andre Ilagan is the OIA East player of the year for the boys, the Governors’ only other selection was Tyler Castro on the second team. Kalani had three first teamers, followed by McKinley with two and Roosevelt and Castle with one each.

Kaiser’s Lisa Owen is the girls player of the year in the East.

John Dye of Kalani is the boys coach of the year and Kyle Hiranaga of McKinley is the girls coach of the year.
