Stovall upset OIA champion and third-seeded Max Higa by pin the 138-pound division preliminary round at the Texaco/HHSAA Wrestling State Championships at Blaisdell Arena on Friday afternoon. It’s been quite a wrestling journey this year for Shannlynne Mahoe of Nanakuli. In the past, she was a steady performer at 225 pounds, even though she was pretty much about 193 on the scale.
