Recruiting website 247Sports updated their football rankings for the class of 2019 and now has three players from Hawaii ranked in the top 40 in the country. Saint Louis five-star defensive tackle Faatui Tuitele jumped 14 spots and is now No. 13 overall among current high school juniors. Kapolei defensive tackle Aaron Faumui has accepted a football scholarship from the University of Hawaii. UPDATE: UH football beat writer Stephen Tsai talked to Faumui. You can read more here. ‘Iolani senior Saige Ka’aha’aina-Torres, who was the Star-Advertiser All-State player of the year, announced on Twitter today she has committed to Utah. Ka’aha’aina-Torres, who was named to the Under Armour All-America second team this past season, had originally committed to Missouri but changed her mind during the volleyball season.
