Oregon State offered sophomore Tausili Akana a football scholarship on Wednesday. Hawaii, BYU, Utah, Arizona State and UNLV made offers to the 6-foot-4, 210-pound defensive end/linebacker earlier. Oregon State assistant coaches Jake Cookus and Legi Suiauona have been in contact with Akana, who transferred from Kamehameha to Wasatch (Utah) in July. UCLA, California and Virginia have become the 15th, 16th and 17th FBS schools to offer football scholarships to Punahou junior Tevarua Tafiti. The Pac-12 bull rush has arrived for Kaeo Akana. Colorado, then UCLA offered football scholarships to the Roosevelt defensive end on Tuesday. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound junior now has six offers.
