Banks takes aim at Nanakuli passing mark

Nanakuli coach Keala Watson put the ball in Nainoa Banks’ hands on Friday and the senior quarterback delivered the second highest passing total in school history. Nanakuli seniors celebrate the journey

The festivities following Nanakuli’s final home game of the season had the feel of graduation night. After starting the season with three straight losses to Top 10 teams, Leilehua didn’t exactly get a break for its fourth game. It’s not easy going into Nanakuli Valley to face the Golden Hawks and the Mules found themselves in a close ballgame Friday night, leading by just seven points at the half.
