Savai‘i Eselu is the new football head coach at Moanalua, according to the Moanalua athletics Twitter account. The account administrator tweeted: “Welcome new head football coach alumni Savai’i Eselu … MENE RESPECT ABOUT TO BE EARNED.” Eselu is a former Na Menehune tight end who played college football at Cal. Moanalua football head coach Jason Cauley is going back to Alabama and he hopes to bring some of Hawaii with him. So he devised other ways to give Michael Feliciano room to roam.
