The defending OIA and state champion Mililani Trojans put their 21-game winning streak against Hawaii teams on the line in Friday night’s second OIA semifinal against the Waianae Seasiders at Aloha Stadium. Mililani will again be without injured quarterback McKenzie Milton but has plenty of offensive firepower with RB Vavae Malepeai, who is chasing the all-time rushing record held by ‘Iolani’s Joe Igber. Vavae Malepeai and the rest of the Mililani offense did their part to help freshman Dillon Gabriel get comfortable in his first varsity start on Saturday.
