USC’s Malepeai out 6-to-8 weeks with injury

USC freshman running back Vavae Malepeai will miss 6-to-8 weeks with a shoulder injury, according to a report by Michael Castillo on ReignOfTroy.com. Malepeai, a 2016 Mililani graduate and Hawaii’s all-time leading high school rusher, broke his scapula during practice last week. In Castillo’s story, he mentions Malepeai as having “turned heads” at practice.
