The Punahou defense did exactly what it needed to do to slow down Mililani’s offense in Saturday night’s 43-21 victory at the Trojans’ John Kauinana Stadium. Mililani’s Gabriel named Polynesian Bowl All-Star

Mililani quarterback Dillon Gabriel has been selected to participate in the 2019 Polynesian Bowl. Gabriel, a 6-foot, 190-pound lefty, is the state’s leading passer this season with 1,063 yards and 14 touchdowns with a 58-percent (69-for-119) completion percentage and no interceptions in four games. Through 31 career games over his four-year varsity career, Gabriel has thrown for 7,164 yards and 81 touchdowns and is closing in on the state’s all-time career passing mark.
