Warriors running back Kanoa Shannon, the workhorse of the Kamehameha offense all season, scored his first rushing touchdown against an ILH opponent on carry No. 162 this season, scoring from 7 yards out with 2:10 remaining to ice Kamehameha’s 44-31 victory over Punahou on Friday night at Aloha Stadium. Kamehameha senior defensive end Jonah Welch has narrowed his college choice to five schools. Welch, who is 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds and was invited to the Polynesian Bowl last month, holds offers from seven schools. Kamehameha safety invited to Polynesian Bowl

Kamehameha defensive back Kalamaku Kuewa has been invited to participate in the 2018 Polynesian Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 20, at Aloha Stadium. Kuewa, a 6-foot, 185-pound safety, has intercepted at least one pass in all seven games for the Warriors this season.
