Kahuku breaks into MaxPreps’ top 100

Kahuku vaulted into the top 100 teams in the MaxPreps high school football national computer rankings. The Red Raiders (10-0), ranked No. 3 in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Top 10, jumped 47 spots to No. 86 nationally and are MaxPreps’ top-rated Hawaii team. As always, Kahuku ran the ball a lot in their most recent game. Not only that, the Red Raiders had QB Kesi Ah-Hoy carry the ball on each of their first 21 offensive plays. He rushed for 133 yards in those 21 attempts, and finished with 23 carries for 174 yards before leaving with an injury during the second quarter.
