PIAA Letter of Intent signing day

Beautiful morning at the Elks Lodge in Waikiki on signing day for dozens of student-athletes from the islands. Among them were a handful of football players, including Punahou’s all-state offensive lineman, Davis Miyashiro-Saipa‘ia. The senior signed with Oregon as a preferred walk-on, turning down several opportunities at smaller schools. Isaac Hurd, Campbell’s big-play quarterback, signed with Southern Oregon. Here are the recommendations from the athletic directors’ conference on Kauai. The conference began on Thursday, ended Saturday and resulted in the following approved proposals.
