Jayson Pagurayan’s shot at a second-straight OIA judo title is looking likely. Pagurayan, of Kapolei, beat Taylor Otsuka of Mililani to win the OIA West on Saturday, setting himself up for next week’s OIA championships. Pagurayan won the OIA last year but finished second to Punahou’s Cameron Kato at states. He could become the first boy to repeat at that weight class since Kelson Onigama of Moanalua in 2010-11. Ritchie Wong started the onslaught in the 108-pound class and was followed by fellow Na Menehune Diamond INouye (114), Kulana Salera (161), Andrew Pascua (178) and Zorich Palimo’o (198).
