With the Ann Kang Invitational and Waimea tournaments in the books, the state turns its eyes to this week’s Hawaii Volleyball Invitational at Kamehameha and Lee Ann DeLima Volleyball Classic hosted by Kamehameha-Maui. Defending champion Santa Margarita is in position to repeat at the Ann Kang Invitational. The California school finished the second day of the tournament 6-0 without losing a set, the only school to do so. Mira Costa also went 6-0, but dropped two sets. Hawaii’s best girls volleyball teams had a rough day at the first day of ‘Iolani’s Ann Kang Invitational on Thursday.
