For years, Hawaii Baptist’s girls volleyball program filled the alpha-dog role atop Division II. Dynasty, yes. There is, however, room for two. Le Jardin sent a reminder of this on Tuesday night with a 19-25, 25-17, 25-22 victory at Charles B. Wang Gymnasium. Undefeated Moanalua broke through the ILH threesome that had been at the top of every Honolulu Star-Advertiser Girls Volleyball Top 10 this year, earning the No. 3 spot in the latest rankings released today. Punahou dropped to a season-low fifth after losing to both Maryknoll and ‘Iolani last week. Mater Dei narrowly beat Kamehameha in the third-place match of the Gold championship bracket 26-24, 25-23. “I’m proud of the team and staff.
