The ILH announced its girls volleyball all-star teams over the weekend as voted on by league coaches. ‘Iolani senior outside hitter Saige Ka’aha’aina-Torres, who helped lead the Raiders to the Division I state final three years in a row for the first time in school history, was named to the Under Armour Girls High School All-America second team today. Ka’aha’aina-Torres averaged 4.9 kills per set and led ‘Iolani to a 31-11 overall record, including its first ever Ann Kang Invitational championship. Lexis Akeo has a way of blending into the celebration. Not long after Kamehameha finished its dream season with a 25-20, 25-22, 31-29 sweep of ‘Iolani, she was perfectly at home in the crowd.
