Kaahaaina-Torres leads ILH volleyball all stars

The ILH announced its girls volleyball all-star teams over the weekend as voted on by league coaches. In Division I, ‘Iolani senior outside hitter Saige Ka’aha’aina-Torres was named the player of the year while Kainoa Obrey of ‘Iolani and Chris Blake of Kamehameha shared coach of the year honors. ‘Iolani’s Ka’aha’aina-Torres makes AA second team

‘Iolani senior outside hitter Saige Ka’aha’aina-Torres, who helped lead the Raiders to the Division I state final three years in a row for the first time in school history, was named to the Under Armour Girls High School All-America second team today. Ka’aha’aina-Torres averaged 4.9 kills per set and led ‘Iolani to a 31-11 overall record, including its first ever Ann Kang Invitational championship.
