For the first time, Damien is co-ed. Economic downturn. Declining enrollment? Whatever the reason, Damien has female students for the first time, and as a result, the school has its own cheerleaders. Radford’s performance at the Zippy’s/HHSAA State Cheerleading Championships rated a 297-point total and first place in the Large Division competition.
