If you follow girls basketball, you may have noticed this error in today’s edition: Pearl City was posted as the losing team against Waialua in the Star-Advertiser Girls Basketball Top 10. This was clearly an error on our part. Waialua has forfeited several games recently, including one to Pearl City. Bummer news from Chandler, Ariz.: Edgewater (Fla.) ousted Konawaena 39-34 today in the opening round of the Nike Tournament of Champions, John Anderson Division. Edgewater features the No. 16 player in the nation and was ranked No. 47 as a team by ESPN, just four notches below No. 43 Konawaena.
