ILH champion Kamehameha, which held off ‘Iolani in five sets on Thursday after losing to the Raiders in five sets on Tuesday, is the No. 1 seed in the New City Nissan/HHSAA Girls Volleyball State Championships beginning Monday. It was a banner year for the Island Pacific Academy girls volleyball team. The Navigators under coach Stan Vincent won the ILH Division III championship for the third time. By doing that, they qualified for a play-in game for the league’s D-II tournament.
