Washington State wasn’t the first FBS program to like Jayden de Laura, but the Saint Louis quarterback responded to the Cougars’ scholarship offer within 12 hours. With the final selections from Hawaii for the 2020 Polynesian Bowl scheduled to be made over the next two days, a second player from the islands has been named a Polynesian Bowl All-Star for 2021. Saint Louis star Koali Nishigaya is trying his level best to get noticed, and it has worked as far as USA Today is concerned. Nishigaya is up for the newspaper’s Super 25 Player of the Week for the second straight week. The award is determined by popular vote, and he can be voted for here.
