The Damian Farias Senior Classic will tip off on Saturday, 6 p.m. at Clarence T.C. Ching Gymnasium, Saint Louis School.
A 3-point contest will precede the game at 4:30 p.m.
Team Red, coached by Dan Hale and David O’Connor, features Punahou standout Ayndra Uperesa-Thomas and Kahuku center Kache Kaio. Three Saint Louis Crusaders are on the squad: guard Jiovanni Ramos, center Jordan Posiulai and guard Blaize Arakawa (Saint Louis I-AA).
High-scoring Jeremiah White of Kaimuki and Punahou guard Dillon Kellner, along with Kamehameha swingman Christian Togiai, ‘Iolani guard Nela Taliauli and Baldwin’s 6-foot-5 long-range bomber, Trotter Apo, round out Team Red.
Team Blue, coached by Robert Shklov and Katie Waki of Mid-Pacific, also has a dynamic mix of high-scoring guards and stellar post playmakers. Twain Wilson of Leilehua join a backcourt that includes Daysen Lupica of Kaimuki, Keaka Kauhane of Kapaa and Zion Donnell of Nanakuli. Miles Hornage of Campbell and high-scoring James Taras of Punahou will get plenty of action in the post and on the perimeter, while Lauvai Pine of Mililani and Noa Donnelly of Kailua patrol the paint.
