State hurdling champion Emma Taylor won three events at Saturday’s BIIF track and field meet at Konawaena. Taylor won the 100 hurdles with a time of 15.15 seconds and 300 hurdles in 46.07. Taylor also won the 100 dash with a time of 12.90, the only girl to finish under 13 seconds. Kamehameha-Hawaii’s Saydee Aganus also won three events. She finished the 200 in 26.28 and had marks of 17-4.50 in the long jump and 21-1.75 in the triple jump. […]
Radford won the boys and girls team titles at Friday’s Velasco Invitational held at Mililani. Radford’s Kiyara Peart won the 100-meter dash in 13.61 seconds and the 200 in 28.06. Peart also won the long jump with a distance of 15 feet, 5.50 inches. Mary Moloney doubled up in the distance events by winning the 3,000 (11:23.09) and 1,500 (5:09.27). Kaille Lane also won multiple events for the Rams in the triple jump in (31-4) and the 100 hurdles (18.22). […]

Zack Diamond of Mililani scored a 9-4 victory over Josh Gallarde of Campbell. For Diamond, it’s his second OIA championship. Radford’s Angela Peralta became a three-time OIA champion by pinning Pearl City’s Jacqueline Fuamatu in the third period. Peralta was up by a 5-0 margin when she finished it off.
