St. Francis receiver Scott McLeod, who leads the state in touchdown catches with 11, has been invited to the 2018 Polynesian Bowl.
McLeod, who is 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, has caught a touchdown pass in nine consecutive games. He is currently third in Division II and fourth on Oahu overall with 730 receiving yards on 51 receptions, averaging 14.3 yards per catch.
McLeod is the third wide receiver from Hawaii invited to the annual all-star game, joining Saint Louis’ Jonah Panoke and ‘Iolani’s Justin Genovia. Saints teammate Wembley Mailei has also been invited to play.
St. Francis plays Damien in a winner-take-all game on Friday night at Aloha Stadium for the ILH Division II title and a berth in the Division I state tournament.
The 2018 Polynesian Bowl takes place Saturday, Jan. 20, at Aloha Stadium.

Great athletes and even greater grades with the education they have at Punahou !!! These kids got brains for crying out loud ! InVITE THEM NOW ! ^^^^^^^
@Rahjaa
This game is NOT a Punahou showcase; it is an All Star game for Great Poly talent from all teams. Stop Crying!! punahou can buy/recruit players but cannot buy All Star game invites…
Congratulations Kid.
@rahjaa
you can only invite seniors braddah
apparently this is a st louis show case ? 7 players invited, come on….other ILH kids are as talented as they are. They need more ILH kids, this isnt rocket science. These Punahou/Kamehaeha kids can compete! @??? oh sorry thought they were @Rr4l
Kinda sad you say Punahou can recruit and buy players, don’t even know what these Kam and Punahou kids benefit when going to their respective schools. Unlike your education, these kids can show out and ball! @???
Stop being a snob and support the Hawaii student athletes
Invite Chayce Morgan from Nanakuli High School.
Despite the teams losing record, this kid shined and showed out against the top D1 teams in their conference.
Great leader and student-athlete. Not many like him from Nanakuli.
