Punahou QB lands 2nd D-I offer

Punahou junior Stephen Barber, who is the likely replacement to Nick Kapule as starting quarterback for the Buffanblu next season, picked up his second Division I scholarship offer on Wednesday.

Barber, who was first offered by Hawaii, picked up an offer from Navy and tweeted the news.


Barber played in eight games for Punahou last season and completed 53 percent (46-for-87) of his passes for 707 yards and 10 touchdowns with four interceptions. He also ran for a TD.
