Nationally-ranked Kahuku has had scarcely a challenge against island teams this season. The defending state championships took on a hot Farrington team in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I championship game at Aloha Stadium on Friday.

Now that Kahuku will join the ILH for the post season, both Punahou and St.Louis will experience it. Kahuku on offense will physically pound you on the line. Now that the tight ends are getting active, the LBS cannot stuff the gaps on every play. The Maiava kid is legit. He can make you pay with his arm and legs. He is also making his reads. Hats off to the o-line. Again stellar performance.

It is too bad that the seedings were not done properly, I am from Ewa Beach but my hubby is a Kahuku Alum. I told him they got screwed on the seedings and he said “Whats new? no one plays fair anymore”

I was just wondering to myself how much yards Farrington’s Challen Faamatau would have had if he played on Kahuku’s team? (WOW)

@Lohuilani; honest smart hubby from Kahuku and he’s right whereas unfairness for sure has been Kahuku’s obstacles but no matter we always stay focus and overcome; small world like both my Ewa Beach residing Ohana/nephews from Kahuku/Laie may have awakening connection at Ewa Beach? RR4L63

HPW really needs to just disable the comments already. So many dumb comments from people just trying to make trouble.
