If there was ever a 15-yard penalty committed by a team that was worth it, this was it.
Kahuku set the tone for its 39-14 thumping of Saint Louis to claim the Division I state title in the First Hawaiian Bank/HHSAA State Football Championships on Friday night by coming out near midfield during the coin toss and doing a haka.
The crowd of 19,699 at Aloha Stadium ate it up.

And here is Kahuku’s postgame haka shot by Stanley Lee:
three mean boi!
Now that is a “Brotherhood”. Even the coin toss captains was getting amped!! That set the tone for the rest of the night! ! 10 mean!!
That’s what won the game right there. Crusaders got butterflies after that one. Saints should start doing Haka, ha’a, Sipi Tau or something. Show that Polynesian fire!
love it!
