Dave Kannewurf is the new athletic director at Le Jardin Academy in Kailua, school principal Vicki McNeill announced on Friday.
“We are excited to welcome Dave Kannewurf as our newest Bulldog and director of athletics,” McNeill said in a news release. “I am impressed with Dave’s experience and enthusiasm, which is already evidenced by a new Twitter feed for athletics and additional website support that will provide parents with up-to-date sports information. We all look forward to working with him as we continue to grow our sports programs.”
Kannewurf, a native of Virginia, was the athletic director at Atlee High School Mechanicsville, Va. He and his wife, Holly, moved to Oahu in June.
