Another group of outstanding student athletes were honored at the HMSA Kaimana Awards and Scholarship program luncheon at the Hawaii Convention Center on Saturday.
The program has awarded 206 scholarships to high school students over the past 10 years and added began giving awards to entire schools this year.
The 15 student-athletes honored today all received $5,000 scholarships and nine schools were awarded $1,500 each.
