Former Kahuku football coach Lee Leslie has a new job in Idaho.
Lee Leslie, who spent one year as the Kahuku football coach, is the new head coach at McCall-Donnelly High in McCall, Idaho, according to KTVB.com.

Leslie went 9-3 with the Red Raiders, who made it as far as the state semifinals, but left after one season to return to his family in Idaho.

He is a former high school coach at Kuna and Bishop Kelly in Idaho, and he takes over a team that went 1-7 a year ago.

He came to Kahuku in the spring of 2014 after coach Reggie Torres, who led the Red Raiders to three state championships, was not retained by the school.

Leslie’s Facebook page lists McCall-Donnelly as his new place of employment.

Congratulations! He did a fie job in his first year at Kahuku! Sad to see him leave. But, his move was to be closer to his family and that is both honorable and thoughtful!
