Mililani junior Andru Tovi has received a scholarship offer from San Diego State.
Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance shared the news this afternoon on its Facebook page.
Tovi, a 6-3, 325-pound guard/center, also has an offer from Utah State. He was a Star-Advertiser all-state second-team selection by coaches and media.
Hawaii has not offered yet? Surprising since one position sorely needing depth/starter in 2016 is offensive center.
I imagine it must be tough to excel on the recruiting front while assistant coaches keep departing. Hopefully, they don’t fall behind in the process while bringing in new coaches.
