The latest class of the Hall of Honor will be announced on May 25, we will randomly look back at past classes since the program began in 1982.
We start off with the 2008 class, which had every league represented.
Farrington combat sports standout Tani Ader was the OIA’s lone representative with Lake Casco of Lahainaluna carrying the banner for the MIL, Kolten Wong of KS-Hawaii repping the BIIF and Tiffany Ikeda-Simao of Kauai selected from the KIF.
All of the other inductees were from the ILH: Daniel Chow, Jeeter ishida, Shawna-Lei Kuehu, Erik Shoji and Michelle Yoshida all making it for Punahou. Kamehameha had Kanani Herring and Dara Pagaduan selected for Kamehameha and Jamie Smith was Iolani’s lone representative.
Five of the 12 honorees pledged to continue their educations at Hawaii.
