On this day in 1955, Kaimuki and Roosevelt tested the limits of someone’s scorebook.
The teams wrapped up the season by combining for 29 hits, 10 errors and nine walks in the Bulldogs’ 16-11 victory in two and a half hours.
George Hamasaki was the big stick for Kaimuki, hitting for the cycle and driving in six runs. In all, the Bulldogs erupted for 22 hits.
