They have one of the smallest enrollments in the state, in a relatively remote area on an island where competitive volleyball is not quite the norm.
Yet, the Seabury Hall Spartans find a way to compete every year. This year’s team had just one senior on a roster of eight players at the Ann Kang Invitational, but they still placed fifth in the Silver bracket after a win over Kalani on Saturday. As of last week, the Spartans, of Olinda, Maui, ranked No. 10 in the Star-Advertiser Girls Volleyball Top 10.
