>> Hawaii continues to make progress on the local recruiting scene. UH coach Nick Rolovich managed to flip Kahuku offensive lineman Micah Soliai-Howlett from Arizona State and also got the ILH defensive player of the year, Ezra Evaimalo from Kamehameha. UH expects to add at least three more from the islands to its recruiting class.

>> A little interesting here as Utah announces the signing of Kahuku alum Aliki Vimahi to its 2019 class. Vimahi, a defensive lineman, originally signed in 2017 but served his two-year church mission. He was a big get for the Utes with an offer sheet at the time that included BYU, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Hawaii, UNLV, Oregon State, San Diego State, UCLA, USC, Utah, Virginia and Washington State.

Notre Dame announces the signing of linebacker Jordan Botelho (6-3, 230) who is ranked as the top recruit out of the islands in the class of 2020. Botelho is the No. 114 overall recruit in the country according to 247 Sports and is sixth among his position at inside linebacker.
