Most of the top high school football players in the country will realize their college dreams with the signing of their national letters of intent.

>> Saint Louis has its big ceremony late this morning. Updates below:

>> Hawaii continues to make progress on the local recruiting scene. UH coach Nick Rolovich managed to flip Kahuku offensive lineman Micah Soliai-Howlett from Arizona State and also got the ILH defensive player of the year, Ezra Evaimalo from Kamehameha. UH expects to add at least three more from the islands to its recruiting class.

>> UH also adds Campbell’s Tamatoa Mokiao-Atimalala.

>> Hawaii isn’t just Oahu, either. The ‘Bows go all the way over to the Big Island to pick up Hilo athlete Kilohana Haasenritter.

>> Stanford manages to flip Punahou’s Alaka’i Gilman from Washington State late in the recruiting process. Gilman officially headed to the Farm.

>> According to 247 Sports, the top four recruits in the state all come from four-time defending state champion Saint Louis. The one traveling the furthest is receiver Roman Wilson, who has officially signed with Michigan. Wilson (6-0, 175) is ranked as the 358th overall prospect in the country.

>> A little interesting here as Utah announces the signing of Kahuku alum Aliki Vimahi to its 2019 class. Vimahi, a defensive lineman, originally signed in 2017 but served his two-year church mission. He was a big get for the Utes with an offer sheet at the time that included BYU, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Hawaii, UNLV, Oregon State, San Diego State, UCLA, USC, Utah, Virginia and Washington State.

>> California makes official its two big signing from Hawaii in Saint Louis defensive tackle Stanley McKenzie and Mililani linebacker Muelu Iosefa. Last time Cal signed two guys from Hawaii in the same season was 2015 when the Bears picked up Punahou’s Kanawai Noa and Semisi Uluave.

>> Utah football posts a fun clip of Saint Louis safety Kamo’i Latu, who has signed with the Utes. A few words from defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley.

>> Konawaena’s Alex Muti (6-3, 195) is an interesting prospect at defensive end who has signed with BYU. The Cougars enjoyed their time on the neighbor islands as they also picked up Lahainaluna’s Tuipulotu Lai.

>> The Saint Louis nation tour continues with receiver Matt Sykes sending in his letter to UCLA and Central Michigan signing linebacker Lawai’a Brown.

>> And Oregon make official its second of two signings from Hawaii as Kapolei’s Maceal Afaese is officially a Duck. Oregon using Hawaii to strengthen its trenches in this recruiting class.

>> Mililani defensive end Shane Kady is officially a Beaver. Trojans could have as many as four players sign today.

>> Wisconsin announces the signing of Saint Louis LB Nick Herbig. First Hawaii player to go to Wisconsin since Micah Kapoi out of Kapolei. Herbig (6-2, 215) ranked No. 2 in the state of Hawaii by 247 Sports and is the No. 187 overall recruit in the country.

>> Washington State holds on to Saint Louis quarterback Jayden de Laura, who received a couple of big offers late from USC and Ohio State but will instead get his chance to run that Air Raid offense with coach Mike Leach.

247 Sports has de Laura No. 22 in the class from around the country.

Pac-12 Network’s Yogi Roth on WSU signee Jayden de Laura: “This dude can rip. I call it LTA. Load to Arrival. When you put that back foot in the ground and you’re really to rip the ball gets there.” Says WSU will have three high school QB’s fighting for the starting job and he wouldn’t be surprised if de Laura wins the job.

>> Saint Louis will have its official signing ceremony later this morning on campus, but that hasn’t kept players from sending in their letters early.

Notre Dame announces the signing of linebacker Jordan Botelho (6-3, 230) who is ranked as the top recruit out of the islands in the class of 2020. Botelho is the No. 114 overall recruit in the country according to 247 Sports and is sixth among his position at inside linebacker.

>> Kahuku defensive back Kaonohi Kaniho (Boise State) and offensive lineman Micah Soliai-Howlett (Hawaii) are signing their national letters of intent at a ceremony on campus on the North Shore. Photo credit to KHON’s Christian Shimabuku.

>> They didn’t waste any time over at Farrington as offensive lineman Faaope Laloulu signed his letter of intent early Wednesday morning with the Ducks. Laloulu (6-7, 350) had an impressive offer sheet that included Arizona, BYU, Hawaii, Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego State, UCLA, USC, Virginia and Washington. He is one of two players expected to sign with Oregon today from Hawaii.

>> Quick Tuesday night update. Saint Louis linebacker Darrell Masaniai added a late offer from Air Force. Masaniai is one of the top three uncommitted players from Hawaii along with Mililani LB Bam Amina and Punahou OL Solatoa Moea’i.

    GOD I love signing day!! Good luck to all the boys!! Remember no matter what school you went to, you rep Hawaii on and off the field now.
