The Polynesian Bowl Hall of Fame is hosting a Hawaii football showcase for current high school juniors and seniors this Sunday to kick off the 2019 Polynesian Bowl week in Hawaii.
With help from Friends of Hawaii Charities, Inc., the Polynesian Bowl is bringing over a minimum of 20 NCAA D-II and D-III, NAIA and junior college coaches to attend the showcase that is free to participate in.
Polynesian Bowl coaches, many of whom who are former NFL and college players, will lead the showcase.
Players will participate in 40-, 20- and 10-yard dashes and other combine events before being divided into position groups for specific drills.
Time will also be given to coaches to put players through personal individual workouts.
All juniors and seniors are eligible to participate as long as they have not signed or are committed to a Division I college.
The goal of the event is to provide as many Hawaii kids an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of college coaches at every level in hopes of earning at least some type of scholarship toward college.
Check-in time is between 8 and 9 a.m. at Kunuiakea Stadium and the showcase will be held from 9 a.m. to Noon with lunch provided after.

How do we know if our son is accepted to attend the showcase? We submitted an application.
Please advise!
