(8:42) Damien ball on its 23. Four straight completions by Holtz to start his second half. Fourth-and-4 at the 20 and Damien moves early. Damien decides to kick it and misses a 41-yard field goal wide right.

(12:00) ‘Iolani starts on its 10 after a targeting penalty on the kickoff. The Raiders didn’t have a penalty in the first half. Raiders back to work on offense and convert their first third down on a 39-yard catch and run by Kamana. Third-and-goal at the 7 and Duke Hoohuli gets a huge sack. Loss of 15. False start penalty moves it back 5 more yards. Makekau will try from 44. IT’S GOOD. Mika Makekau with a 44-yard field goal. 13-6 ‘Iolani, 8:51, Q3. Upon first look that is believed to be the longest field goal made by a woman in Hawaii prep history.

'Iolani's Mika Makekau kicked a 44-yard field goal which is indeed a state record for a female. The national record is 48 yards by Heidi Garrett of Martin Luther King High School in California in 2004.

Chong finds Kamana for 10 yards on third-and-3 after a Damien timeout and then it’s a healthy dose of Nishigaya with the occasional RPO from Chong and a couple of key third-down completions. Damien uses its final timeout with 1:24 left in half and ‘Iolani first-and-10 at 24. Raiders burn a timeout with 52 seconds remaining facing a third-and-9. Chong finds Kamana for 12 yards. Kamana with eight catches already. Third-and-7 at the 6 and Chong finds who else? KAMANA for the 7-yard TD. What a drive. 10-6, ‘Iolani, :16. 16 plays, 80 yards, 4-for-4 on third down.

(9:56) Damien ball at the 20. RB Aperamo Sulu with two carries for 10 yards as he finally finds some space. Holtz finds room and rushes for 20 yards into ‘Iolani territory. A holding penalty backs up Damien and it’s third-and-21. Holtz tries to hit a receiver but it goes off the hands and into the hands of Jarvis Natividad who picks up 27 yards to the 20. Damien catches a break there. Another holding penalty however and ‘Iolani breaks up a pass on third-and-3. Christian Souza tries a 30-yard field goal but misses it.

Chong finds Jonah Miyazawa on fourth down and that moves the chains. More tough running by Nishigaya to the 6 but ANOTHER high snap goes for a loss of 12. Third-and-goal from the 18. Makekau misses a 30-yard field goal.

(1:29) Nishigaya with some tough running and then Chong overthrows a TD pass down the middle to end the first quarter. ‘Iolani fourth-and-5 to start the second.

(2:54) Damien ball on the ‘Iolani 39. Lanakila Pei with two quick tackles for ‘Iolani and then Holtz has a guy wide open deep down the sideline but can’t make the connection. ‘Iolani takes the holding call instead though to make it third-and-24. Bad move as Lindon Sevilleja gets WIDE OPEN for a 53-yard TD behind the defense. Touchdown Damien. XP no good. 6-3 Monarchs, 1:29, Q1.

(4:16) ‘Iolani ball on its 27. Bad snap and Fosi Ulima recovers for Damien.

(5:05) Damien ball on its 23. Holtz nearly has another one picked and then misfires on third down. Punt time.

(7:06) ‘Iolani starts on its 41. Carter Kamana with his third catch already to get to the 26. Raiders go for it fourth-and-13 at the 29. Chong scrambles for 6 but has to know it’s fourth down there. Turnover on downs. Duke Hoohuli with the tackle.

(10:48) ‘Iolani starts on the Damien 36 after a 10-yard punt return by Kyler Mento. Junior Jonah Chong at QB. Damien sophomore Jayden Murata with the TFL on third-and-3 at the 8. Mika Makekau 27-yard field goal. 3-0 Raiders, 8:16.
