Defense led the way for the Kamehameha Warriors, who had five first-half sacks against Kapolei in a 21-7 victory on Friday night at Aloha Stadium.

Hoku Arias, their stellar linebacker, had three of those sacks and added a 2-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to break a 7-all stalemate. It was the Open Division opener for both teams.
